Gas turbine generators

Purpose
Gas turbine generators ГТГ-1500-2 and ГТГ-1500-2Г of 1500 kW in capacity are intended for application as self-contained (both as main and reserve peak) sources of the three-phase alternating current with frequency of 50 Hz, voltage of 0.4 kV (ГТГ-1500-2), 6.3 kV or 10.5 kV (ГТГ-1500-2Г) with fine precision of frequency maintenance. Can be used for fixed and quickly installed systems of permanent and temporary power supply for detached settlements, enterprises, medical institutions and hotel complexes. Characteristic features of the gas turbine generators are reliability, simple design, long service life and capability of starting from accumulator batteries.
Design
The gas turbine generator (GTG) is an automatized assembly consisting of a turbo-compressor, a planetary reduction gear, electric generator, oil system, elements of electro-hydraulic control system and auxiliary mechanisms, mounted on a common frame.
The turbo-compressor - operates in an open cycle, single shaft, with axial-flow compressor, has an overhanging reverse-flow combustion chamber and an axial-flow turbine. Generator and oil system of ГТГ-1500-2 are water-cooled. Cooling water consumption is from 20 to 30 t/hr at a temperature not more than 32 оС. Generator and oil system of ГТГ-1500-2Г are air-cooled. GTG control system provides automatic and remote control at a single or parallel operation on electric mains at full load range from idle run to 125% of rated power.
